Not another typical sci-fi dystopian, paranormal, fantasy, romance novel. Author Sarah Brownlee was able to weave a contemporary romance into a futuristic setting without making it so you just didn't want to stop and through the book every 5 seconds because it's not even story or a novel. I would not even know what to call it.

Sarah Brownlee achieved a beautifully weaved story about young of 18 who's life has not been the easiest and has found it the best to push people away because of what she is. A  shifter, a wolf. Ashamed of it, because of people's reactions and thing she has done. Living in a life of solitude and hiding as well hiding the gift. Hiding because of what people may do or say because she is different or what may happen if she does expose her secret again.
Though one day  day to  Sarah surprise another......shifter like herself comes into town. There is something different about him....he does not shrink in the shadows of deviate from people,he wears his gift with pride.

A story so well written, enticing the reader to keep going even as their eyes become tired, pulling them along. Stringing them along as if hooked on a fishing line.its a story you can enjoy. There is no doubt after reading this book you will think this author is another rumpelstiltskin (metaphorically and not talking personality here), with words none the less. Instead of weaving golden hay, she weaves magical golden words.
